Pete doesn’t read my blog… but I’m going through crap on my old hard drive and deleting stuff. Anyway, I just found this pic and I posted it on his myspace and I decided to post it here too :)

Your answers suggest you are a Realist

The four aspects that make up this personality type are:

(you can take the lil quiz here)

Planner, Facts, Heads and Introvert

Summary of Realists

  • Loyal and steady workers who meet deadlines
  • Believe in established rules and respect facts
  • Think of themselves as mature, stable and conscientious
  • May appear too logical or tough-minded and forget their impact on other people

More about Realists

Realists are loyal to the people around them and work hard to keep their promises. They are honest and straightforward with others and expect the same in return. Realists believe in standard procedures and will only support change when there is a demonstrable benefit.

Realists are the most common personality type in the UK, according to a nationwide survey.

Realists respect factual information, which they store up to use when making decisions. This group likes to have time to think quietly and carefully before taking action.

These extremely productive people like to be occupied in their leisure time with pursuits such as craftwork, hiking or reading.

In situations where they can’t use their talents or are unappreciated, Realists may become obsessed with schedules, critical of others or have trouble trusting other people to get the job done properly. Under extreme stress, Realists may complain loudly that events have taken a turn for the worse and predict negative outcomes.

Realists typically only share their opinions or personal experiences with trusted friends.

Realist Careers

Realists are attracted to jobs where decision making based on factual knowledge and experience is required.

It’s important to remember that no survey can predict personality type with 100 percent accuracy. Experts say that we should use personality type to better understand ourselves and others, but shouldn’t feel restricted by our results.

Sad Little Blog

Posted on July 24th, 2008 in Joy of Zen by joyofzen
My poor blog is all alone :( I need to blog more (obviously). Had a rough few days recently. Things are getting better though.

I’m gonna put together a youtube video over the next week, and I’ll embed it on here for your viewing pleasure.

I don’t really have much to say right now I guess. Ummm. I’ve done 2 lesson plans with the 3-year-olds at the children’s center I’m putting my hours in at. They loved the corn starch and water emulsion. It took me a while to clean it up though. The first lesson plan I spent too much money on. I got them stuff to make rattles with. I want to kidnap one of the kids. He is so cute and smart.

What else? School blahblahblah, work blahblahblah.

I’m addicted to this song, I think I might have to buy the album:

I can’t sleep and messaged arvensis68, who is in the UK, to see if she was awake… or rather, at her computer since it’s after 11 there. Thankfully she is and sent me this to watch:

Getting Big

Posted on July 13th, 2008 in Joy of Zen by joyofzen
This is the girl I have been sponsoring for over two years now, Katherin. She is 11 and will be 12 in November. I had a post on my old blog about her, but since I deleted the blog I can’t link it. She lives in Nicaragua. I always get excited when I get a letter or Christmas card from her. And as broke as I get, I’ll keep sponsoring.

I am spelling her name Katherin because that is how she signed her name on 2 different letters to me. The company spells it Katherine, but I’d rather go by handwritten stuff. And I’m guessing when she says her name it ends with an een sound.

Anyway, I just wanted to share :)

Few Pics

You’ll have the excuse the line that goes down the pics, my scanner needs to go to its resting place. But I don’t wanna spend money to buy another one.

The way I am standing in that middle pic is SO me. It’s amusing. My brother might demand this picture be removed, so enjoy it while you can :)

You can click the pic to see it bigger if you so desire.

Oh Blog, How I Neglect Thee

I was eating ice cream after midnight. Can you say oink?

I hate going up stairs with my left foot first. I think it’s because my left leg is a bit weaker than my right. So, it freaks me out.

I tutored 11 students today.

I want the week to die.

I’ve been trying to exercise some since I (sorta) have more time right now.

I need to study for the CSET. I dunno which section I should take first.

I think I’m getting sleepy. I usually go to bed around 1 and it’s nearing that time.

I want to sleep in. We’ll see how that goes.

You must read this. A 71-year-old woman prevented any further harm to her and her daughter by offering a man who broke into their house a beer.

For Mollie :D
If she ever comes to my blog again. Haha.
