Joy of Zen

My dad died April 14, 1990. My grandma died April 13, 2007. The lady I took care of died in April and her funeral was on April 14, 1999. And what happened to me last year in April. So now whenever April is approaching, I’m just going to have to prepare myself for eminent doom. Not to be a pessimist or anything :p

Adversity gives birth to greatness. The greater the challenges and difficulties we face, the greater opportunity we have to grow and develop as people. A life without adversity, a life of ease and comfort, produces nothing and leaves us with nothing. This is one of the indisputable facts of life.

My grandma died this morning. She went peacefully in her sleep.

Tyler, of BJ & Tyler posted a bulletin on MySpace about a friend of his. This guy, Bill, is going around the world and vlogging it. I watched a couple episodes (which are fairly short) and it seems pretty cool. You can check it out here, and I’m gonna link it on my sidebar.

Alright, I’m done pimpin’

I should be studying for my stupid biology lecture test that starts at 7. And I did study a little… but I can’t focus. Last Saturday night, at about 11:50 p.m., my brain exploded. I did my 13 written assignments for government that day, so I’d have all of Sunday to study for the test that is tonight. I did study a lot, but needed to do WAY more last night, and that didn’t happen. So, I’ve already accepted my future C grade on the test. I am very confident for the multiple choice part, but the tons of written stuff is going to suck balls.

Do you remember this show? I tried to figure it out for a half hour last night… or early this morning, however you want to look at it. I couldn’t remember if it was about Cinderella or Snow White… but there was a little person, so I was thinking Snow White, but couldn’t find anything.

Then I was trying to explain it to Tamie this morning and she immediately knew what I was talking about! Everything, except the name of the show of course. But she said it was about Snow White and Prince Charming living in the suburbs… so I typed 80s Snow White suburbs into Google which took me here and gave me my answer.

Traffic was a little bitch today. I thought since some people don’t have work today, it’d be lighter…. but no. Multiple accidents happened and totally fucked up my drive because dumb shits tailgate and drive like morons. I left early enough to check our PO box, but got here a few minutes late without stopping. BLAH.

AND on top of that, methylene blue was reduced, not oxidized!! Ugh. My biology practical was last night, and I missed that dumb question, which I realized this morning at 7. My alarm went off and I changed it for later, then for some reason that popped into my head and made me wide awake. I hate when I put stupid answers when I know the right answer! GAH.
