Joy of Zen

I’m still going through my 20 million songs on iTunes to figure out which ones to put on my iPod… and I came across Jump by Kriss Kross. I like it.

I don’t really know what to say about the woman dying from drinking too much water in Sacramento. It’s just awful. That radio station is more awful. A contest should never include anything that might result in death. And for a fucking Wii she was trying to win for her kids. The whole thing is sickening. I am just appalled.

This is a good story. One of the boys had been kidnapped over 4 years ago. Then the guy kidnapped another boy last week. The kidnapper was found because of a description given of his vehicle by a student.

Work has been outta control since last Friday. Blah. I am still working on my post… it’s about Heroes if you’re curious. Hopefully today but no promises

I came on here to finish a draft I started earlier, but I just don’t have the energy for it. It involves a poll… which I went through setting up earlier, then it gave an error message. So meh. I’ll hopefully do that one tomorrow. It will be fun times.

So tonight was the first meeting of my biology lecture class. I had no idea who the teacher was or anything. I can best describe her as a cross between Calista Flockhart and Jenna Fischer. She looks like she is my age… but she says she has been teaching there for 9 years and has two kids. So I have no idea how old she is. She seems to be good about trying to get us to understand the content… although we only went through most of chapter 1. My lab class on Thursdays will have a different teachers. This class should give me 7 units instead of 4. 3 hour lecture, 3 hour lab, PLUS 1 hour computer lab. Dammit. And the computer lab stuff is on-campus only. Ugh. Thankfully my government class starts in March, so I can try to get this all figured out and get a rhythm going.

Will this be the semester where Joy doesn’t slack off for the first time EVER!? Stay tuned.
